Important Note:
We can only apply for you If your place of residence falls within the areas listed below: London, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Isle of Wight, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Glocestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Isle of Scilly, Channel Islands.


1. Type : Tourist, Business and Transit.

2. Processing Time : 1 week, but we need your documents before Tuesday because we lodge every Thursday. Therefore we need your documents a few days before.
Note :You should always remember it is up to the embassy to give you a visa or not with any particular validity no matter what you applied.

3. Requairements :

(1) One Visa application form and one LTP - visa to europe order form plus Additional form. ( china applicants need to fill two visa application form.)

(2) Recent Passport Size photographs :
(45mm x 35mm) taken against a white background with good contrast/clear/good quality, printed on normal photographic paper, unmounted and full face without sunglasses or head covering. Please do not stick or staple your photos.

(3) Your passport(s) :
It must be valid at least 6 month after your return from Portugal. Your UK visa must be valid at least 3 months after you come back from your trip to UK. Your UK visa must be in your current passport if not enclose the passport with your UK visa to your current passport. Also we need a photocopy of UK stamp and issue page in passport.

(4) Proof/confirmation of tickets & accommodation :
These must be original and not photocopy/fax etc. Internet proof of returnTicket&Accommodation is also acceptable as long as it clearly stated your name and the details of your trip. Your return ticket must show you are fully paid. If visiting friends/relatives (if you are invited by somebody in Portugal) then he/she has to write an invitation letter for you and confirm that he/she is your host and send it to you with bill/bank statement showing their name and address of the property in Portugal. If you are traveling to somewhere else after a few days in Portugal (eg Italy) then you also have to show the proof of ticket and accommodation for it. Overall the time spent in Portugal must be more than other countries after Portugal.

(5) Recent Bank statements :
The one which bank post it to you every month, all the pages - not older than one month. It should NOT be overdraft at all, bank statement must show a minimum balance of 40 pounds per day spent in Portugal. If you haven't received your recent bank statement yet or you know you have enough money in your account then enclose your last bank statement you already have plus go to any branch of your bank and ask them to give you a print out for your latest transactions up to date or if you do internet banking then internet print out is OK as long as it shows your name and possibly your address then send both together to us (old bank statement and print out).

(6) A recent employment from your employer and your last three payslips/School letter :
Employment letter must NOT be older than one month stating the position within the company, starting date,certifying continued employment after the trip. No contract letter please. School letter must not be older than one month and must stating the type of studies, details ... and attendance record.

(7) A medical Travel Insurance :
The validity of your travel insurance must be same as the validity of your requested visa or your application will be rejected. (eg 3moth, 6 month,1 year, 10 days ...) it doesn't matter if you have indefinite visa or long term visa, you have to have Travel insurance according to the requested visa. Internet insurances such as insure and go is acceptable.Your travel insurance must cover REPATRIATION.

(8) If your visa is a dependent :
1- then we need your husband/wife or parents..etc passports too plus supporting letter and recent bank statements,employment letter,Marriage certificates(which should be translated in English if it isn't in English and must be stamped by your embassy in UK after translation).

2- For minors travelling with both their parents you need a full birth certificate (Translated in English if needed and must be certified with your embassy in UK) plus both parents passports.

3- For minors travelling without or with one of their parents, a parental authorisation to travel + both parent's passports + full birth certificate of the child.

(9) If the applicant is inactive and married :
recent letter from the spouse's employer/school and bank statement together with the spouse's original passport and marriage certificate.

(10) If you are married to an E.U. or E.E.A.naional...
You need items 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. plus original Spouse's E.U. or E.E.A. passport and marriage certificate(with a translation if not in English and certified with your embassy in UK).

(11) If you are a business traveler or attending a conference :
In addition to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 you also need to have relevant document which is a formal and recent letter of invitation(not older than one month) from the Portugese company/branch confirming the business/conference trip to Portugal plus stating purposes and frequency of the trip and if they are paying for your expenses while you are there.

(12) If you are under 18 years then you also need :
1- Your original full Birth certificate (It should be translated if not in English and must be stamped (certified)by your Embassy in UK).

2- Letter from your parents or guardians saying that they give you the permission and provide you with the financial ..etc support during your trip.

3- Photocopy of your parent's passport (first page) and their original passports.

4- Parents original marriage certificate + translation (if not in English or Portugese) and certified by your embassy.

5- family book is also requested.

(1) You have a tourist or visitors British visa.

(2) Your UK visa expires in less than 3 month and your passport expires in less then 6 months.

(3) You have been rejected in Schengen Visa from any of the member state.

(4) If you are national of the following countries:
Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Bahrain, Burundi, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Hong Kong CID, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Korea (North), Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Palestine, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Somalia.
